    Windows Operating Strangely


    I'm having some trouble with my computer. It started with it taking a very long time on the login screen after I entered my password, but when it finally loaded to my desktop, my taskbar showed no icons and a lot of utilities were missing, like windows key shortcuts wouldn't cause anything to happen and I couldn't open settings. Internet still connected, and all of my applications would run fine, but windows-specific operations seemed to have trouble.I tried multiple scans through the command line and attempted to restore any corrupted files, but nothing seemed to improve the situation, nor di

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
