Windows 10: windows password/pin option

Discus and support windows password/pin option in Windows Hello & Lockscreen to solve the problem; so im tryna change my password/pin on my windows computer and whilst i do that, i cant even see the password option, and the pin, isnt even there...     so im tryna change my password/pin on my windows computer and whilst i do that, i cant even see the password option, and the pin, isnt even there toowell it is but it says its not available for my computer, but i have a pin to open my computer??????if anyone knows a way to fix this, it'd be greatly appreciated, and yes im up-to-date on my updates on my current system

    Microsoft Account PIN and password

    We appreciate the screenshot that you provided. to start troubleshooting the issue with you logins, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how login pin goes back to password:

    • Click Start menu and go to Settings.
    • In Settings, click the Accounts icon.
    • Click on Sign-in options.
    • Change both your password and pin one by one.

  3. Remove sign in pin

    Hi Joel,

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

    • In the search box type sign-in-option.
    • Click on the sign-in-option.
    • Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
    • There you can remove the option and check.

    Have PIN for Windows 10 but need Windows password

    Hi,

    To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:



    • Type the word pin in the search box and select
      Set up PIN sign-in
      .

    • Under the PIN section, click the
      Add
      button.

    • Enter the password for your user account, then click the
      OK button.

    • Follow the instructions on the screen.
