Windows 10: Windows PC Error: permanent spell checker

For the past few days, I've noticed that whatever I type on my keyboard, after i hit space a small box shows at the top of the screen and shows what I just typed. This happens in every single app I have open, including on my desktop and in games. When i click the box, its the same as a spell checker, letting me check spellings or add words to dictionary.

I'm not sure what caused this problem, but its very annoying and I can't find any way to get it to stop

Spell Checker error on 1803 update


I am getting the following Error ID: 33 in the new 1803 April 2018 update.


Failed to add hardcoded change pair "http -> http" to engine: Not implemented. The spell checker will still be available.






Any ideas what this might be?

 

Spell checker in Africaans - Lumia windows phone

Spell Checker not working in Mail or Word Windows 10

The spelling checker is working in my Windows 10 Mail, and gives suggest corrections in a list, but there is no ADD function shown, to add the word to a custom dictionary. Office 365 Spell checker has this capability and saves the 'new' word to 'custom.dic'
and 'roamingdefault.dic. Mail seems to have this function, as the 'misspelt' word is at the bottom of the suggested alternatives but with a + in front of it. I assume this will then add it to a Mail custom dictionary but I can find no reference to what its
file name is or where is it located, so I cannot go and edit it, which I can do with the Office 365 dictionary.
