    this solved the problem, forgot about doing this one. for now mark as solved. Results were instant................thanks from both of us*Cool

    This behaviour does sound very similar to the problem i had just a moment ago.
    For me the crash is caused by an update of the ms photo app.
    You may be able to test if this is the case by creating a new local account and see if the app works on there for the first few minutes.
    If this is the case I solved the issue by doing a system restore to ~ 2-3 days ago and than disabling automatic app updates in the windows store as fast as possible. It is important here that you disable the updates before windows automaticly updates the app.
