Windows 10: Windows Pin complexity

I have 1 new Windows 10 pro laptop that requires a 6 digit pin complexity. All other Win 10 devices only require 4 digits. I have tried changing the group policy locally on the laptop to 4 digits but I get a message your pin doesn't meet the required complexity when i try and set the 4 digit code.

Setting a complex pin

I found this article, that tells me a PIN is better than a password, specifically:

It mentions that one can set "complex" pins:

"Something like t758A! could be an account password or a complex Hello PIN"

Now, try as i might, if i enter a ! or letters on changing my PIN ... nothing registers in the text field. How do i set such a complex PIN? I had face recognition enabled, but frankly i don't like the idea, but irrespective of whether or not its enabled,
makes no differences, it's numbers only.

Any ideas how to set a "complex Hello PIN"?

What are the Windows 10 Home pin complexity requirements? When I try to set a pin I am told that I don't meet the complexity requirements. So that naturally prompts the question, "What are the Windows 10 Home pin complexity requirements?" I am a
grown up so I feel entitled to be told. I want my pin to be as non-complex as is permitted so what are the requirements?

 

Sign-In Pin Complexity

My old pin doesn't meet Microsoft's new complexity requirement.

If I want my pin to be 0000, or something equally simple, that is my own choice and Microsoft shouldn't have a say in it.
