Win Push Notification User Service Stopped Working error

Hello there, I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this in but maybe someone has heard something about this error. I am getting a "Windows Push Notificatons User Service has stopped working" error after restarting my PC and hitting the Start button for the first time.

I have tried the advice given in this thread here but it didn't seem to make a difference. Someone mentioned in that post that they think this issue is related to store applications connecting to Microsoft, and seems linked to the Start Menu. I can sorta back this up because the error began right after installing the Comodo Firewall and when I disable the firewall it doesn't happen. So I assume something is being blocked somewhere. Maybe there is some process I can whitelist in my firewall to make it work?

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Edit: Whitelisting the process isn't going to really help, come to think about it, because its happening even when I am not connecting to a network and it wasn't doing that before the windows update a few days ago. I am currently running v1709 but I guess I'll go ahead and let my laptop update completely to the latest version and see if the issue still persists.

Well sorry for the misunderstanding and my general ignorance; I really do appreciate the help.

But back to the problem at hand, the Windows Push Notification Service User seems it cannot stop the process. Is there a way I could end it, and also know more about it? I've never seen it in task manager before.

For us to know if it's a faulty or outdated driver, can you send us a screenshot of associated file. Here are the steps:

• Type in Task Manager in the search bar
• Right-click Service Host: Windows Push Notifications User Service_3c1f5
• Click Properties and go to the General tab
• Send us a screenshot of the Properties
