    windows reactivation issue

Im having this issue with my activation. i recently upgraded my hardware which deactivated my windows. i had linked my windows key to my Microsoft a so i could just reactivate my windows with out any issue but i keep having the same problem every time i try to reactive. After clicking on the trouble shoot i got to the window that asks me if i want to learn more about windows activation or what i click on the " i changed hardware on this device recently and it will take me the the window were i select my computer the it loads just to tell me "unable to activate windows. we cant reactivate windows on this device. try again later." and I've try for about 2 months now with no change to the message. please someone help i don't want to have to buy windows all over again.

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Does Windows 7 require reactivation if...

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think its going to ask you for a key. If anything it will ask you to reactivate, which you can do online, or at the worse- over the phone. Should be no issue.

I have changed MBs in the past (and been too lazy for a fresh install) and Windows Vista and 7 RC updated the drivers and did not even require reactivation.
