  1. Windows reactivation not working after hardware change

    Hi,

I recently changed the CPU, motherboard, and RAM on my computer, so Windows is asking me to reactivate it. When I go into settings to reactivate it, it tells me there is no product key found on my device and gives me the error code 0xC004F213. When I go to the troubleshooter, it doesn't find any problems, and when I tell it I changed hardware recently, it gives me the option to reactivate from my computer, but when I select it, it just tells me that it is unable to activate Windows. I don't have my original product key anymore. How do I reactivate Windows?

    Thank you.

    :)

It is possible that Windows won't be able to identify your computer correctly that is why the operating system is not activated. To address your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps in this

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."

Reactivating Windows 10 after Hardware Change

    Greetings everybody,

I changed the hardware (motherboard, CPU, GPU, RAM) of my PC and I cannot reactivate my WIN 10 now.

I had WIN 7 retail version before and I upgraded it during the free upgrade to WIN 10 years ago. Before I changed my hardware, I linked my WIndows licence to my windows account so I could reactivate it after the change, but it does not work.

In the activation page in the settings, it shows the error code 0xC004F211, which shows that the hardware has changed. I followed the instructions of https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change,
so I did the troubleshooting and then selected "I changed hardware on this device recently" and then selected the device I am using and click on activate, but this does not work. I only get the "We can’t reactivate Windows
on this device. Try again later. " message.

Any suggestions what I can do to activate my licence?

    Thanks in advance
