Windows 10: Windows reinstall on Asus L402s

I cannot install windows 10 on Asus laptop from boot.Currently the laptop is in a boot loop and won't go past the initial logo. In the Asus bios it requires path to be selected from USB but I don't know which file. I have already cleared the USB thumb drive and have the legitimate windows 10 on it but the laptop bios requires a set file plz help.

Sorry for the delay in reply.

What happens when you try to install the software?

I suggest you to re -install the software and check.

Try the following steps to un-install:

• Right click on Start menu, click Programs and features
• Select Asus Xonar D2 highlight it and uninstall
• Now download and -reinstall the software and check if that helps.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
