Windows 10: Windows resetting is stuck

I was resetting my windows 10 Asus laptop and it is stuck at 34% for 2 hours. How long should I wait or what should be done to be over with it without crashing the windows or some other fatal error?

Stuck at 64% after reset.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
