Windows 10: Windows resized EVERY time display sleeps 1 monitor only, various setting changes, e.g.,...

Hi, all! So, after a preliminary search, this appears to be a fairly old issue, where Windows 10 resizes all your windows yes, even if minimized every time the monitor goes to sleep.


Microsoft, are you just ignoring this issue? I do not see any fixes for it from any of your experts, or am I mistaken?

No display on monitor when TV set as primary display

Issue solved

Removed DVI/HDMI cable from computer and monitor

Step 1: Check if the VGA monitor cable is defective.

1. Turn off computer
   
2. Connect the monitor VGA cable from the monitor to the VGA port on the computer
   
3. Turn on computer, VGA monitor cable is good.
   
   Step 2: Tun off computer
   

1. Connect HDMI Cable to HDMI port and TV
   
2. Turn on computer and TV, there is no monitor black screen
   
3. Click on the Windows logo, select the Settings icon , and then select
   
   System. Under Display there are two squares, labeled 1 and 2
   
   D Click on Advanced Display Settings:
   
   Display information: Display 1- Monitor Display 2 -TV
   
   E Right-click the Speakers icon in
   the taskbar, select Sound, click on Playback devices,

Windows move and resize after sleep on duel monitor set up - Windows 10

I have a duel monitor set up on my Windows 10 machine. When the monitors go to sleep the windows move from the right monitor to the left. I recently installed a new video card, Radeon RX 470. The drivers are up to date. This issue didn't happen on
my old video card. I first thought it was caused when my computer goes to sleep but I changed the power settings to not sleep and discovered it is when the monitors turn off or go to sleep. I am using 2 LG Ultra HD monitors, one connected through display
port and one through HDMI. I have to move and resize my windows several times a day. I am using the latest version of Windows with all the updates. Please help. Thank you.
