Windows resource protection could not start the repair service

    Hello,

Ive been trying to scan my pc for corrupted files with the “sfc /scannow” in cmd as an administrator and i keep getting the same error message: “Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.”

I have already tried typing the sc config trustedinstaller start=auto method as well as going into the windows modules installer and changing the start up type and neither method has worked. My initial problem is a DNS probe finished no internet error if that might have anything to do with it.

    :)
