Windows 10: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

I have an MSI gs75 stealth with a gtx 1660 ti graphics card. Yesterday I downloaded displayfusion and it resulted in my screen having black bars around the edges that my mouse cannot go into, essentially it shrunk my display. I am running on the correct resolution and refresh rate for my display. I uninstalled displayfusion but this did not solve my problem. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling my graphics cards in device manager but this did not solve the problem. I then restored to an earlier restore point on my computer with advanced startup to a point from a few days ago but this did not solve my problem.


I now have a new problem where my computer will have problems when booting, then run diagnostics and try to fix the problem but be unable to repair. I have gotten around this by starting up with my restore point again and this has worked two times now, but if I turn off my computer and try to turn it back on I get the above booting problem and have to start it up with my restore point. I ran scf scannow and was given the following response: I am unsure how to attach the log file.

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline

repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.


The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot.

Windows works fine in safe mode but very slow in normal mode.
