Windows 10: Windows restart freezes while windows 10, 2004 version update.

Few days back I was updating my AMD GPU driver. During that, windows crashed with error "Thread Struck" and things haven't been good since then.

I uninstalled the driver and tried to update to windows 2004 update. Download and install happened successfully, but during restart it froze. I had to force shutdown it. Since then I had tried almost 5-7 times to update only to get the same issue. Sometimes the restart freezes at 27%, other times at 69%, it's not consistent.

I tried to reset the windows. But it froze this time also during restart. Since I had to force shutdown during reset, some features of windows aren't working correctly.

Can someone please provide some help on this?

Should I try resetting in Safe Mode and then try to update it?

Or is there any hardware issue?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Maaaaaaaaan 1803 is pile of poo

Some people have problems with edge, others with ie, chrome, and other apps. Hangs freezes, crashes. Microsoft says they will fix this crap on May 8th
