Windows 10: Windows Rollback loop

Stuck in a boot loop. Can get into Advanced Options, however there are 3 operating systems available Windows Rollback, Windows 10 on volume 4, and Windows 10 on volume 4 and the default seems to be Windows Rollback which appears to be preventing windows startup. how do i change the default, or remove the offending operating system?

Windows rollback loop

After a windows 10 update, my ASUS X55U laptop remained in a rollback loop. I have tried Bob Omb's suggestion in the Jan 16, 2018 thread by Martin Bar ie. run chkdsk c:/r/x (no bad clusters, usn journal verification) and sfc/scannow (Windows Resource
Protection could not perform the required operation). I do not have a boot disc or USB

 

Rollback boot loop

I was trying to install Windows 10 to a different drive and it failed. I selected to rollback and undo the changes now I'm stuck in a loop. I can only get to bios and I disconnected every drive except the OS M.2. How do I get out of this?

 

Windows stuck on previous restoring loop
