    Windows Sandbox crashes with error 0xc0370106 if BIOS SATA operation is set to AHCI.


    If SATA operations in BIOS is set to RAID, Sandbox works fine.

    No SATA settings in Bios

    I installed a SSD in my dell computer and I want to change the SATA settings to AHCI - problem is I am unable to find where to change that setting in the BIOS. In fact, no where does it even mention SATA. I've tried all the suggestions of going to the
    registry and changing the values - but again there is no where in the BIOS that I can find to change the SATA.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    AHCI Bios error

    You're running RAID with it?

    Did you load windows with an AHCI driver when it was new?

    Is the BIOS and Raid/AHCI controller still set to AHCI?

    Is the BIOS and Raid/AHCI controller set to AHCI and it shouldn't be?

    Enable AHCI on VIA SATA controller

    I have an HP Mini 2133, and SATA operation is set to "native" in the bios, however my SSD software informs me that AHCI is disabled. I have installed the correct driver, but it seems that the controller is not running in AHCI mode, despite being set to native SATA operation in the BIOS (alternative option being "compatible", which I assume means IDE mode). Anyone know how I can force it into AHCI mode in Windows?
