Windows 10: Windows Sandbox

I attempted to add the Windows Sandbox feature by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off. I then scrolled down to Windows Sandbox and checked the box. I click ok and if shows a couple progress bars then askes to restart the computer which I did. During restart is says "Working on features and hangs at 94% for a while then restarts. During the restart, I get the message "We couldn't complete the features. Undoing changes" then I get the message "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes". When the computer comes back up an I log in, there's no Sandbox.


System information:

HP 360 Z Studio

i9-8590HK

32 GB Ram

Windows 10 version 20H2

There are no related Event Viewer entries.

I have tried three times over three days.

I turn my computer off overnight.

There are no Windows Updates needed.

There is a possibility that the feature is corrupted or not set up properly. I would advise you to disable Windows Sandbox first and then enable it. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Control Panel.
   
2. Then click on all Control Panel Items.
   
3. Then click on Programs and features.
   
4. Then on the left hand side, click on Turn Windows features on or off.
   
5. Then uncheck the option: Windows Sandbox.
   
6. Then restart your computer.
   
7. After restart, please enable it and check if the sandbox is working.
   

Also make sure that you meet all the requirements for Windows Sandbox.

Vmmem process will not be killed. Windows sandbox.

We understand your concern as you are unable to stop the Windows Sandbox process.
Please try disable and re-enable sandbox to check the issue.

1. Press Windows + R key, then type appwiz.cpl and click Ok.
2. Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
3. Uncheck the box beside Windows Sandbox and click
   OK.
4. Restart the PC and check.

Feedback hub. As a suggestion you can try disabling and enabling
the sandbox to check if that works. Please follow the steps mentioned below:
