Windows 10: Windows Scan not working on my PC

I am running the latest version of Windows 10 and have just installed Microsoft Windows Scan on my PC. My PC is connected to an HP Laserjet 3380 Printer.


However, whether the Automatic Document Feeder is loaded with multiple pages or a single page is placed on the flatbed glass and I try to scan to PDF, nothing happens and a "Problem scanning" error message appears.


Is the App not compatible with my printer?

By default, scans are saved in a Scans folder inside the Pictures. Here are the steps on how to get there:

• Press Windows and type pictures
• Click Pictures and double-click the Scans folder.

Furthermore, we suggest that you repair your Word application by following the steps on this

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
