    Windows Script Host Error: Invalid root in registry key


    It was brought to my attention that my computer may have been compromised through an email attachment I received from a contact yesterday. I wasn't having any issues with my computer but to be proactive I ran a scan using Malwarebytes. The scan detected one item Trojan.Valak.E / Type: Malware / Object type: Registry Key which I put into quarantine. After doing that, I started receiving a Windows Script Host Error: Invalid root in registry key. The error just keeps popping up on my screen about every two minutes. Since both of these indicate a registry key, I'm sure they must be related. Also, I'm not sure if it is related, but I keep getting a notification from Malwarebytes that a website is blocked due to riskware Domain: glassyradua.xyz. What does this error mean? Is my computer and personal information at risk? How can I remove and/or fix this error? Please, any help is greatly appreciated.

    On startup-pop up states "script error-invalid root registry key" followed by HKCU\software\rjw00yvjrj\ljmkegnj is this dangerous and how do I stop it?

    I get invalid root in registry key "HKCU\software\f sha\ydnjgzlow." JavaScript:VpRD3.1g="AQwagQ",T3a=new ActivexObjectCw"Script.shell"

    No I did not do a fresh start. How can I do that. Should I bring my PC in to MS store. What wil this cost?
