Windows 10: Windows security doesn't appear on system tray or task manager start up

    Windows security doesn't appear on system tray or task manager start up


    Windows security is running on my windows platform but I cannot see the display icon at system tray or task manager. How do I get the system tray icon back?

    Task Manager on start-up and minimized to tray

    Confirmed on W10 2004 what you said - Task Manager starts minimized with an icon in the taskbar. If I click on the Task Manager taskbar icon, then minimize the Task Manager window, the taskbar icon goes away and Task Manager remains in the tray.

    I think we might be talking at cross-purposes and I asked about your Taskbar in an effort to clarify things.- I have found no solution that starts Task manager already minimised to the System tray [the "Notification area"].
    - I have found several solutions that start Task manager already minimised to the Taskbar {and, incidentally, also displayed in the System tray [the "Notification area"]}.When I tried your solution, it started Task manager already minimised to the Taskbar {and, incidentally, also displayed in the System tray [the "Notification area"]}.
