    Windows Security Issue


    Good day,

    I'm currently running Windows 10 1909 and have recently got the winrmsrv.exe malware/virus. I immediately quarantined the malware using Malwarebytes. However, whenever I open Windows Security, the Security at a glance tab is blank and when I go to Security Providers, neither Antivirus, Firewall nor Web protection has providers. I have tried sfc /scannow but it doesnt seem to detect any probems. I'm worried that the malware corrupted some of my files.

    Also, in the services app, the Windows Defender Antivirus Network Inspection Service isn't running and is set to Manual startup and I cant seem to turn it on Windows Defender Firewall is running. Is there a way to fix this without resetting my laptop or losing any of my files and applications?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

    SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.
