  1. windows security potentially unwanted app alert - but no way to identify the app

Windows security is giving me a popup telling me I have a potentially unwanted app but when I click on the popup and it goes to the security centre, none of the options app control, scan, etc are flagged and there's nothing in any of the various protection histories.I'm not quite sure where to look next.

    :)

Protection History Warning - Potentially unwanted app found

Not exactly a false positive, more a precaution as MiniTool bundle optional apps from their partners in their installer. See this thread, in particular post #2 from MiniToolSupport themselves.

Protection History Warning - Potentially unwanted app found

This just popped up, potentially unwanted app found. Detected MiniTool_Partition_Wizard_Bundleinstaller?? Tried Remove, Quarantine - does not remove the Yellow Triangle. Anybody else seen this?? False positive?? Had 2 instances, blocked the first one.

Unwanted App - where is it?

If it's a UWP app (Store app) then you can try here:

whilst everything installed is listed here:

If that means you were using a browser, there may be a download record.
