Windows 10: Windows Security

Hello everyone, I have a situation that I am unsure if it is user created or unusual.


So, -I can't open or utilise windows security panel through settings, and all the associated functions.


-My PC will not turn off, it simply restarts.


-Windows store will not open.


-I can log into office 365 ,I have a pay by the month subscription ,but I am unsure it does anything as when I open the account information page it asks if I would like to start office and install it.


-the WMI page does nothing except offer information, no app download options.


-the PC will not do a clean and complete reinstall, not that it asks to delete system partitions. Windows features never install/ uninstall, it goes to repair page, and then restores to a point that I cannot see/ edit/ use.

-cortana does nothing.


-even though I am a stand alone home PC using a ethernet cable to my router there are server processes running in my PC.


-I have found unity, mscorelib files, sqlite files desiite having encryption locally disabled.


-gamebar prescence writer opens ever time I open a game despite it being turned off, drivers deleted etc.


-When I try and do a clean install of windows 10 with either iso/ media creation tool/ use dism/ or scannow my PC simply restarts and all the files are the same .


-steam isinfested with dll, api, bin, unity, cfg, cascade, etc files that I am unable to change or take ownership of, with unknown account information attached and in control.


-any new apps I manage tot download even to my desktop are instantly subverted and refused/ incorporated as agents of these people.


-I can't open/ view nvidia control panel, backup, create backups that stay in the folder I set, or intel graphics command center and other assorted diagnostic/ administrative apps.
-TPM and secure boot have been disabled,

And now some background and information, I have tried using help and support with the usual outcome being a reinstall, using various methods, al of which I have tried. Some with more success than others but with in 7 days at the best reverting to , or usually becoming more infected/ manipulated by these unknown intruders. Over the years I have managed to glimpse a data miner, the repeated instigation of the streaming services, bluetooth background service again not manipulatable by myself. When I play games at some point a new download is instigated from the clent server and then suddenly the game/ app stops working and I have to try and make it work somehow. At this stage, 4 years later, I am absolutely at my witts end. Office 365 has been subverted, and I am still paying a subscription, windows upgrades simply to 20h simply state that I have the lastest version despite steam and other configuration finders telling me I ma using something other than 1902.807. I stopped the app from starting a few weeks ago by crashing registry and then reinstalling windows. Unfortunately this only lasted 5 days, 3 of which I didn't start the PC. Most attempts to contact support end up in no resolution initially, but then there is no follow up as I think not all of my e-mails are getting through/ allowed by the system administrator, of which I am not enrolled as a user. Please help me as I have PTSD and am on a pension and I have invested a considerable amount of investment in this endeavour. Gaming offline I only play one online game is a rare source of relaxation and escape from an otherwise difficult day. windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.
