Windows 10: WIndows Server 2016 Datacenter Windows Update Error Code 0x800705b4

Hello Community,


We have been getting this error code since this was in production. We built 2 exact servers from scratch and other one is having no problem whatsoever while installing the updates. Here are the things we have tried to resolve this:


1. Ran the update troubleshooter, It detects 'Service registration is missing or corrupt' and fixes it but that does not solve the problem.

2. We have tried resetting the update components and then try again, does nothing.

3. We have tried manual installation of those updates on the server by downloading those files from Microsoft Catalogue but it never gets completed and eventually it will stop.


This has been a real pain for everyone here. I would really appreciate if someone has any solution for this. Looking forward to it.

Windows Server 2016 Datacenter activation

We acquired a license for Windows Server 2019 Datacenter but we need to install Windows Server 2016 Datacenter. What is the procedure to convert the Product Key for activation?

 

Does Windows Server 2016 Datacenter have wlanapi.dll?

VPN UNlimited newest version crashes on startup if it doesnt find wlanapi.dll.

My Windows Server 2016 Datacenter doesn't have wlanapi.dll in system32.

From google queries, it seems this is not supposed to happen. Also IMO it's really unprobable for a barely modified Azure provided Windows Server 2016 Datacenter VM to lose a dll.

Official support says they need that dll to run but dont know if Server 2016 Datacenter usually has that dll.

Does Server 2016 DC usually have that dll? Should I install it manually, or is there an "official" fix?
