Windows 10: Windows Sign-in and Security keys

Discus and support Windows Sign-in and Security keys in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; After few days of trying and searching for answer I finally give up.     Windows Sign-in and Security keys


    After few days of trying and searching for answer I finally give up. There is absolutely no information anywhere about that. So I hope someone help me out. Windows 11 Sigh-in with Security key. What exactly is supported. I try to find the answer myself, nothing, I try more than 5 different keys I own including google titan keys and yubico keys nothing worked. For every single key I try, the system gives error that key cannot be used/not supported, try different one. Please anyone answer me, what is 100% supported what brand, what model so I can go and buy one.

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    password sign in

    Hi,

    About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

    If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Click on Sign in options.
    • On the right side, you will see required sign in.
    • Change it to Never.

    Let us know how it goes.
