Windows 10: Windows slow all the sudden

    Windows slow all the sudden


    Windows suddenly really slow to load up. Apps locking up. Even task manager locking up. File explorer not even opening. Reset didn't work. Am now in the middle of clean install from USB. Time from power up to setup screen almost an hour. Click anything and it takes at least 30min.


    Little more context: worked fine. Yesterday 9/14/20 came home from being out of town. Windows was slow. Updates with restarts going and it was slow slow slow. I suspect software related due to this. Microsoft support thinks it's hardware though.


    Hardware:

    Ryzen 3950x new, 2 weeks old

    X580 auros elite new

    Gskill trident z royal ddr4-3600 16gx2

    all 3 upgraded same time and has been working fine.

    Sx8200 pro m2 1tb ssd new 2 months only windows and star citizen and a couple small apps were installed to this drive.

    Rtx 2070 super new 4 months, don't think this is relevant


    Please help. Since Ms support suggested a reinstall and setup has been like watching grass grow I am now 8 hours into a clean install. Couldn't install to the same ssd because mbr not gpt. So, I used disk part to clean the drive and switch to gpt. Still trying to get clean install from USB to install on this drive. Going to try old drive before I go to sleep.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
