Windows 10: windows spotlight for desktop is fully broken

i have windows 11 23h2windows spotlight for lock screen works just finewindows spotlight for desktop is fully broken.almost an year ago the "learn more about this picture" button got deleted by mistake due to some bug, and now from that day, the icon is gone. the picture for desktop is fixed from 1 year. i tried deleting the pictures from assets folder, reset spotlight by powershell, but it resets that only for lockscreen. it only gets new images for lockscreen and downloads images only for it, and not for desktop.anything i can do without a full reinstallation or repair upgrade?screenshot :

There are multiple causes on why you're encountering this issue. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you disable and re-enable Spotlight. Simply follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
• Under Background, switch from Windows Spotlight to a Picture or the Slideshow.
• Click OK and close the Window.
• Now Log off and log in.
• Navigate to Lock screen and enable Windows Spotlight again.

Windows Spotlight broken, not downloading images

Yes, that was part of the 'fix' and Brink's tutorial does that (and more).

On it's own, I've never found it to be sufficient to fix a badly broken Spotlight. Back in 1607 I seriously broke Spotlight by some injudicious manual changes (I was trying to 'un-like' an image that had got stuck there until I got sick of seeing it). An in-place repair install was the only fix for that *Sad
