Windows stopped updating preview builds -latest version is 1903 Build 18362.1 - on the fast option - it will only update defender - I have restarted the services - Thanks John B

Stop Preview Builds?

Hello, I am currently on the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview build 10162 and I see a setting that allows me to stop getting these builds. If I choose to stop getting preview builds, will I still be able to update to the final release of Windows 10 once
it becomes available or will I have to reinstall the previous OS and upgrade to Windows 10 when it becomes available that way. Thanks.

 

Intel HD Graphics 4000" blocks me from 1809, will I be able to update to Version 1903?

1903 is in Insider preview, you can download and install as fresh installation.

You can check Intel HD Graphics 4000 is working without issues in it.

Windows 10 Insider Preview build 18343.1 (19h1_release) is a new build of Windows 10 (version 1903) that is available to members of the Windows Insider program with the priority of receiving updates Early Access.

The reason you are not able to upgrade the insider build to latest is that you might have skipped some builds (as you have not updated it from last 3 months) as such it is greyed out. You can download the build manually and
then perform In-place upgrade.



You will be delighted to know that the download is free. Click here to download the latest version of Windows insider preview:
Windows Insider Preview Downloads. Once the file is downloaded, just click on the
setup file and follow the on-screen prompts.



If you want to stop using Windows 10 Insider Preview and return to your previous version of Windows, you'll need to reinstall your previous version from the recovery or installation media that came with your PC—typically a
DVD. If you don't have recovery media, you might be able to create recovery media from a recovery partition on your PC using software provided by your PC manufacturer. If the recovery partition is not available, then you can download the normal Windows setup
