Windows 10: Windows store and Apps stopped opening

Hi,


Recently, I tried to enter Microsoft Weather App but it opens for less than seconds and then closes without any error.

Same happened with Windows Store, News Apps, Feedback Hub, and Facebook App.


I tried resetting the weather app, tried wsreset.exe, tried the PowerShell uninstalling and reinstalling Windows Store...> but no success.

wsreset gave me the cache problem error

Removed recently added programs..> no success.

Tried sfc/scannow, and DISM stuffs..> also no success.


May someone have a reason for the problem and a solution????

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.
