Windows 10: Windows Store Apps can’t be used after update to 1803.

Hello,


After updating to update 1803 on my ASUS ROG GL752VW laptop most of my downloaded apps are unable to start. They are installed to a secondary drive in my laptop and not the C: drive. The apps are greyed out, with an exclamation mark inside a circle. The apps installed to the C: drive are fine and can be started and used normally.


I suspect that it has something to do with the apps not being installed on the C: drive.


The full text of the error message is: “This app can’t open. [App Name] can’t open because it is offline. The storage device might be missing or disconnected.”


In the meantime I will be reverting back to 1709 so I can use my apps.


Any help would be appreciated and I would be glad to provide more information if required.

Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803)

Any Office365 users here? Does Outlook (or any Office app for that matter) request activation after each system restart post this Windows 1803 update?

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
