Windows 10: Windows Store Code: 0x803FB005

Hi all


The error Code: 0x803FB005 keeps coming up and i cant download apps.i have tried all these steps listed below aswell as reset the store and i still have no luck.Any Help Would be Great.


1. If you are able to open MS Store, open MS Store > Click on your profile picture on top right and sign-out. Then sign-in again.


2. Windows Key+R > Type services.msc and press Enter > Locate Background Intelligence transfer and ensure it is set to Start and Automatic. Also do the same for Windows Update service as well

3. Run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down to the bottom > Click Windows Store Apps > Click Run the Troubleshooter

4. Reset Windows Store through Command Prompt
Type cmd in Windows Search box > Right click on Command Prompt > Run As Administrator > Type WSreset.exe and click Enter > Reboot your computer

5. Re-register All Store apps (You will get many Reds, ignore them)
Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Restart your computer

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

6. Uninstall & Reinstall Store
Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Reboot your computer

Get-AppxPackage -allusers *WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

7. Run Built-in & Guided Walk through Windows Update troubleshooter
Built-in : Windows Key+X > Click Settings > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Click Windows Update > Click Run the Troubleshooter

8. Run SFC Scan & DISM

9. For the purpose of Testing only - Create a New User Account and login with this new User Account

10. Check your Antivirus
Temporarily uninstall / disable AV

Are you getting this error for all apps you're trying to install or update? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

I suggest that you run the Windows app troubleshooter to scan your computer, identify
the problems, and attempt to fix the issues automatically. If the troubleshooter can't find anything, I also suggest that you reset the Store app. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps
& features > Store > Advanced options > Reset.

If you continue to encounter the error, try to clear and reset the Windows Store cache. WSReset is a built-in program present in Windows 10 which can be used to clear and reset Windows Store cache. This utility will clear Windows
Store and app cache files. Since it deletes all cache files of Windows Store, there are chances that it'll fix your Windows Store related problems. You may follow these steps:

1. Type cmd in the search box, then select Command Prompt.
2. Type: WSReset.exe
3. Allow the process to complete, then restart your computer.

I cant download in windows store, code: 0x803FB005

I buy a used laptop with Win 10 Pro, after that, I reset my laptop to default again. When I see my start menu, there is a Dolby Access icon that I can't click or use, when I see in App & Features there is no Dolby access app (not installed).

So, I want to download and install it, but when I want to do it there is an error with code: 0x803FB005. How to fix it? because I already reset the window store use WSReset but the result still not resolved yet.
