Windows 10: Windows store downloads nothing, literally nothing.

So, it must've been asked many times before here but I tried every solution I could find on the internet and so far nothing worked. Basically I've been having trouble with the Windows Store for as long as I can remember, but that aside.

About a month ago I uninstalled Dolby Access from my computer because it didn't work properly. My intention was to reinstall it, but the store decided to not let me do that. No matter how many times I did/do a wsreset or reboot my computer the store never actually starts downloading the app, even though it says 'starting download...'. Sometimes after I do the wsreset it doesn't even load the download page of the app and when it does load it turns my cursor into a prohibition sign whenever I hover over the install button. And these are just two of the four ways the store can forbid me from downloading an app. One of the other two is that the page and everything loads correctly but no matter how many times I click the install button it just doesn't respond,ever. the fourth and final way is that it doesn't load the page at all, giving me an empty grey screen. Doesanyone know how to fix this, it's mildly frustrating and I'm done with it. I just want to install apps on my computer, that's it. by the way this happens with every app, not just Dolby Access. I also really want the Amazon Prime Video app.


Things I've tried:

1. Signing out and in again. No success

2. Running wsreset.exe about 26 million times. No success

3. Rebooting my computer. No success

4. Using PowerShell to completely remove WS and then download it again. No success

5. The most obvious one, troubleshooter not that I expected anything from that.No success

6. There are most likely a few more that I can't remember anymore. but still, No success


Is there anyone that can help me and fix this oh-so long lasting problem?

Windows 10 Apps from the store wont download

• Do you face this issue only with these apps?
• Did you try downloading other apps?
• Did you try stopping these apps and then downloading it again?

We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

• Type troubleshooting in the search
  box and hit Enter.
• Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

If the steps don't work try these steps:

Try to reset the Windows store and check.

• Press Win + R on the keyboard to open run Window.
• Type wsreset.exe to reset the Windows store cache.

Windows Store Not Downloading

Skype not downloading from windows 10 store

• What is the exact error code that you receive while trying to download Skype from Windows Store?
• Is this issue confined only to Skype app?
• Were you able to access any other apps from Windows Store?

Method 1: As an initial step, I would suggest you to follow the below steps and see if the issue can be resolved.
