Windows 10: Windows Store error code 0x80072efd; wsreset doesn't fix

Windows Store does not/has never worked since upgrading to Windows 10. When opened it says "The server stumbled. We all have bad days. Refresh the page." Error code 0x80072efd at bottom of page. Refreshing page merely repeats the same message.

Scoured the web for fixes, can't find anything other than to purge Store cache (wsreset.exe), which does nothing for this problem.

IN addition, Microsoft Edge also does not work. Do not know if that is a related issue or separate.

Any help anyone could provide would be appreciated.

When try to open the store, it gives 0x80072EFD error code & doesn't work. Please help me to fix it.

my laptop is running on windows 10. the store app doesn't open, but it says it has error code 0x80072EFD. even the xbox dont open, please suggest.!

 

To fix the error try the given steps:

1. Run the Windows app troublehsooter, this helped in many cases to fix the issues while downloading and installing the apps.
2. Perform a clean boot
3. Uninstall and reinstall the Windows store app
4. Try to reset the Windows store cache.

And after that check if the error Windows store error 0x80072EFD is fixed or not
