    Windows stuck at startup


    I am using windows 10 in my Asus X570ZD. It's been a two years since I bought this laptop. It doesn’t come with an SSD, so I had to install one. While attaching the SSD, the battery wire got damaged and I have no battery backup. Recently my Windows doesn’t ever recognize my HDD and the startup went extremely slow. It takes 15 **** minutes to boot windows. Before the HDD issue, it didn’t take this long. So what's wrong with my HDD? I have absolutely no idea. I tried to switch to Linux. I got Arch Linux with KDE installed, then the problem with long boot time didn’t exist, still the HDD wasn’t r

    Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

    I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

    Adding programs to startup with Windows 7?

    You could add entries to the registry to launch the apps on startup, but it's easier to just add them to the startup foler as Newt suggested.
