Windows 10: Windows text is invisible (unless I hover over it)

    Windows text is invisible (unless I hover over it)


    So recently I changed the settings to high contrast colors (From the windows lock screen) but quickly switched back to the normal settings.


    But after switching back to the normal colors, half the colors are in high contrast and the other half are not.


    This probably does not make sense but I will attach some screenshots.

    This is the windows explorer, unless I hover over the directory I am not able to see the text.

    Same is the case of the control panel:

    Now if I switch back to the high contrast color, I am able to see the directory names without hovering:

    Invisible Text...?


    I'd love to...but even there all the text is invisible unless I click on something, uh oh...

    Hey there fellow Windows users, I have Windows 10 on my laptop, have had no problems until now, where the text is invisible in the file explorer; as seen in the attached two screenshots. Don't know what to do, am thinking a simple reboot would fix it; thoughts? Thanks!!

    Menu Bars Invisible except on hover

    I am using two programs by Corel: Draw X5 and PaintShopPro X6. Since my upgrade to Windows 10, the Menu Bar on both programs is invisible (white on a white background) unless I hover the cursor over the buttons. Then I can access the pulldown menus. So
    far, these are the only programs on which I am noticing the problem, but I haven't opened everything on the computer. It is a desktop. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? It is annoying to search for the buttons. Thanks.
