Windows 10: windows update 1809 and 1803

hi,i am using hp pro-book g440 laptop.Now i am using two operating systems(Dual boot).LinuxMInt and windows 10 from its release time. But last few months it happens some problem. one is when it tries to update on 1809 or 1803 version,it fails to install multiple times. For more understanding, I attach a screenshot. And other is when power on the laptop if select windows, it's beeping three, seven or more times but windows are working properly. But for Linux, there is no beeping. So what's the problem actually is and how can I solve this?

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

Win 10 1803 to 1809 update

Good day one and all.

My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1809 a while back, but my laptop/notebook running Win 10 version 1803 (As of a Check for updates today 15 Nov 2018 6:30 AM) still hasn't updated to 1809.

I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1809 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

Updates in general on the laptop are coming through as available, for example, yesterday (14th Nov 2018) the "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 version 1803 for x64 based Systems (KB4467702)" arrived and was installed okay.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Microsoft Rolls Out Windows 10 April 2018 Update (build 1803)

Any Office365 users here? Does Outlook (or any Office app for that matter) request activation after each system restart post this Windows 1803 update?
