Windows 10: windows update ans security wont open neither can i type any thing in start menu. need help

windows update ans security wont open neither can i type any thing in start menu.

i cannot search anything neither can i check for updates.

the pc worked fine before it shut down while installing updates.

dont know what to do need immidiate help

Start menu and settings both wont open.

Start Menu Won't Open After Recent Update

After the recent update was applied to my machine I haven't been able to open the start menu. I've tried a few options:

Nothing has worked so far so I'm looking for other suggestions. Anybody know of a workaround to this?
