Windows Update August 23, 2020 Display Error

So i updated and restarted my hp zbook to install the new Windows 10 update and now my display only appears in the top left hand corner of my screen. Its impossible to navigate bc i have to click around in the empty black space in order to try and hit what i need too.

Its hard to explain for me but essentially my screen looks like this now

I tried uninstalling the latest update and restarting but it just reinstalls the update.

Ive also tried changing my display settings

My display was fine before the update, does anyone know how to fix this asap?? I really need this computer to work right for school :

  3. Windows Update August 2020

Since the August 2020 update I have lost all my passwords.

To make things worse, if I re-enter a username and password for an account, ask to save it, then later close down ... when I re-open the passwords have been lost again.

This is not the first time this issue has arisen following an update.

I would have thought that Microsoft would have list of all the mistakes made and errors created by each previous update then check that they weren't happening again before they released a new update ..... but it seems not as we're going down a familiar trail
    yet again!

Is there any way I can fix this problem?

Or do I simply have to wait ages for Microsoft to repair and error they should have spotted beforehand?

I use Microsoft Edge - had problems in the past with Google Chrome so never use it now, and find Firefox too cumbersome.

  4. Windows Update August 23, 2020 Display Error

August 23 Update to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update

In the past few weeks, I downloaded and installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Both times I was disappointed with the performance of the Edge browser. Both times I chose to revert back to the original Windows 10 build.

I am periodically researching for any updates/fixes to the anniversary update and I discovered that a patch was released on August 23, 2016.

My question is whether or not the August 23 patch fixed an issue where if you had a 3rd party security software such a McAfee, you were required to disable the program before resuming with installation of the anniversary update.

So, does anyone know if this issue was fixed so you did not have to disable McAfee?

    Thanks
