Windows 10: Windows update & Avira Antivirus

Discus and support Windows update & Avira Antivirus in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Windows update is telling me I have Avira Antivirus and this needs to be manually removed.     Windows update & Avira Antivirus


    Windows update is telling me I have Avira Antivirus and this needs to be manually removed. It doesnt appear in my program list however I do not ever think it has been installed. Any Ideas on what I need to do?

    Avira Antivirus

    Windows cannot send updates due to Avira Antivirus (not Aviva) - they suggest uninstalling Avira but it is not listed and I am not aware that I ever downloaded it. Presume its some sort of malware - any suggestions please if anyone has had the same problem
