Windows 10: Windows update cancelled and I can't do It again

So,last night,I opened up my HP 2000 laptop and saw that I needed to do the new Windows 10 32 BIT 20H2 update. I started the update. Because it was already getting late,I went to sleep,and left the Laptop on,so the update could go on. My roommate saw the laptop on,and turned it off. I was so upset this morning. And now I can't do the update again,I have looked everywhere in my settings,I have checked for new updates,but nothing seems to work. I can't find the notification of the update in the notification bar or in the Windows Update section of Settings. Please help me. I really want to update my Windows version

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

• 
  Press Crtl + alt + Delete key on your keyboard to open task manager.
  
• 
  Cancel the Windows Update task form the task manager.
  

Step 2:

• 
  Run Windows Update Troubleshooter. Click this

There is no "Cancel Reservation" option available !!

 

Windows Installer popup on Windows 10 will not cancel

For us to isolate the issue with the Windows Installer pop-up that can't be cancelled, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• When you say "It will not cancel", can you tell us what happens when you try canceling it?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In he meantime, we suggest that you perform a clean boot. It will help us determine if there are any third-party
programs/apps that is causing the issue. It could be some other applications or programs.
