Windows 10: Windows update cannot go past update 1909, tried check for updates, media creation tool and...

I tried to install 20H2 through check for updates initially, and it failed with code 0xc1900101. I checked setuperr.log to try to solve the issue and used media creation tool to attempt to update again, and it failed with 0xc1900101-0x20017. I checked setuperr.log, removed the driver that's causing the error and then used windows update helper to try again, and this time no error code showed but here's the latest setuperr.log:

Media Tool Creation 1909 FORCING UPDATE!

I am trying to use the media tool creation 1909 to create an ISO file for my laptop but it forcing me to update to Media Tool Creation 2004 which my laptop does not support yet! is there anything I can do to get 1909 ISO instead of 2004?

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile

 

Windows 10 fully updated. Mouse freezes now and then.

Is it Creator's Update you installed? If you got it off the Media Creation Tool anytime recently, it would have been. Just curious.

I still haven't installed Creator's Update from Windows Update and it still hasn't given it to me as an option.
