Windows 10: Windows update cleanup not clearing

I installed the latest cumulative update for Windows 10 2004. When I go to storage to cleanup Windows update cleanup, it cleaned up but not completely. It didn't say 0 bytes like before. I think this is a bug in 2004. I created a test user account but issue didn't get resolved. Last time, I basically reinstall Windows. If I repair install Windows, my Windows update history might be empty. Any ideas?

Disk Cleanup not clearing Windows Update Cleanup

I have been trying to clear my windows update cleanup for a bit now. I followed this answer Disk cleanup don't cleans Windows Update Cleanup. on this
post. But it did not work for me. I was wondering if there is any other new method to solve this problem.

 

Clear Pagefile on Shutdown


I've been looking into clearing the pagefile, and I found the following steps at a somewhat dated webpage:

1. In the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
2. Set ClearPageFileAtShutdown to the REG_DWORD value of 1.
3. Restart Windows.

I'm just wondering whether those steps are still valid, and, if so, does clearing the pagefile work as advertised?
