  1. Windows Update deletes old driver and replaces with bad one?

Hello, recently my computer got the latest Windows 10 update, it was a feature update. I updated it (keep in mind before I updated it, it worked fine. Screen wasn't lagging and games ran fine) After it finished updating, I restarted the computer. The screen is laggy, and games can't even run. (I play ROBLOX, a simple game that ran fine before I updated, it now lags and its unplayable) I checked the graphics card, and it I'm pretty sure it isn't the one I was using before, it said it was requested to be installed on the day I updated it. I'm using a AMD Radeon HD 8370D graphics card. I also wiped my entire computer since I was panicking. Is there any way to fix this? What should I do about the graphics card? Why did the update switch my good graphics card to a crappy one? (From what I know) Someone please help me, thank you!

    :)

  2. Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
    • Expand the Touch pad driver.
    • Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
    • Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
    • Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
    • Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Hope the information is helpful. Feel free to
write to us for any other assistance with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.

    ATI Driver install problems

    Hi!

There seems to be a kind of a mess after deletion of your current driver.
Have you tried step-by-step drivers update procedure including Driver Sweeper, deleting Prefetch and Temp folders, etc?

    Driver Update/install

Ok, so let me get the basics down first.

1st delete the old driver(software or one by one)
2nd Install new drivers from download
    3rd test new drivers

    Reboot after steps 1 & 2?
