    Windows update download error 0x80070057


    Installation is on a VirtualBox Virtual Machine, used for experiments, to prevent damage to my system (snapshot is before any experimentation). Host machine is the one in my system specs, and is up-to-date. Here is some info about the VM. OS: Windows 10 Pro (Not activated) OS Build: 20H2 (19042.867) RAM: 8GB CPU Cores: 4 Video RAM: 256MB Number of displays: 1 Storage: 25.6GB free of 38.5GB Audio: Intel HD Audio Network: Bridged adapter (Gets IP from router directly) Verified working Antivirus: Windows Defender Serial Ports: Disabled USB: 3.0 is enabled There are 4 updates that keep showing with this error. Things I've tried: * Chkdsk /f * sfc /scannow * DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth * Reregister UWP Apps * Rename the SoftwareDistribution folder * Checked group policy editor (No policies changed) * Checked related registry settings. All are correct * Windows update troubleshooter Need a screenshot of the Windows Update error message? Let me know. Any help would be appreciated, as I'd rather not go through the trouble of doing a clean install of Windows in the VM. Thanks.
