Windows 10: windows update error 0x80070643 and have tried everything online include all the CMD

i have a windows 10 Dell Alienware machine and cannot update my windows since 2019/08, tried troubleshoot, and everytime it says is fixed but is not, and I run the troubleshoot again it says fixed the same error and over and over.



tried cmd things I find online, which tell me to rename the file, but in cmd it says cannot find the file due to duplicate or file doesn't exist.



and the funny thing is every time I remembered I net start either bin or cryptSvc, when I try to net close it again it says already closed

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

I've tried suggested fix and I still get the error message (the updates are interestingly the same updates as poster):

• Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2645410) - Error 0x80070643

• Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2635973) - Error 0x80070643

 

Windows Update 0x80070643 error + OSE.exe missing
