    Windows Update - Error Code: 0x80070424 and Windows Defender Update


    Hello Friends,


    I have two issues


    Issue 1: There was a malware attack on my system and hence, I have reinstalled windows 10 choosing complete clean option but still I'm getting the error 0x80070424 when I'm trying to update Windows. Please help.


    Issue 2: Windows Defender is also not getting updates. "Security at a glance" is blank, in Virus and Threat Protection - I can't scan, cannot activate Real Time Protection, Cloud-Delivered Protection etc. Not able to update, not scan its just not doing anything.

    Iam using Winodws 10 home. My winodws defender isn't starting. It show's a error code 0x80070424. For this reason my computer is attacked by malicious software. Besides, i cannot find "WIndows Update" in the services list. So, please tell me what should
