    Windows Update error code (0x80080005)


    Hello, i have a error when i try to search for windows updates. I run windows 10 with october update (1809) and after that i had this error https://i.imgur.com/ulDUfyW.png. Any solutions? I checked services.msc but i found wuauserv, i tried to start it but it couldn't not start because it cannot find the file specified (no path to the file on the error).

    suggests the error number may occur where one of the OTHER drives has a problem.

    Your specs don't say whether you have other drives installed.

    Anyway, worth using Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - the best text summary of such programs I've seen- to check your disks. Failing that check SMART params and do a surface scan with something else.
