Windows 10: Windows Update error code 0x80096004

My PC is running the Windows 10 OS.When I run Windows Update from Settings the application starts downloading "Office XP Service Pack 3", gets to about 80% then throws up: "Error Encountered" and "There were problems downloading some updates, but we’ll try again later. If you keep seeing this, try searching the web or contacting support for help. This error code might help: 0x80096004".I've tried the troubleshooter, cycled the power, etc but every time I run Windows Update I get the same problem.How can I resolve this issue?

As a Windows Insider, update version 17046.1000 is shown as available, but every attempt to download gets the same error message: 0x80096004.

Have tried numerous fixes including MS update repair, registry repair, etc, etc.

Any suggestions which do NOT include using system restore, or a paid repair app?

I cannot download an Update or any new APPS. I keep getting Error Code 0x80096004. I have tried running "Troubleshooter" with no results. HELP
