Windows 10: Windows update error encountered 0x80070424

Hello,I'm not able to update windows software, i have tried manual updating using Windows 10 update assistant but once I wanna install it tells me that i'm downgrading and that Windows has to delete all my files if i go ahead which is odd.I have also tried w10-wuauserv.reg method as i saw it on the forum but didn't work as well.I might have messed with the cmd prompt at some point but not sure if that is the reason behind the error and I don't know how to go back to point null to see if that's the case.Please help..

I have facing error while updating windows 10 .

0x80070424

I tried all steps given by you in forum .

I went to services and then run all steps mentioned only " windows update " option is not available in services.

Please suggest alternative or again guide me steps to resolving

Hi guys, i want to install the windows 7 platform update but this always shows:

Installer encountered an error: 0x80070424

The specified service does not exist as an installed service.
and my Windows Defender shows that error code too. I've already tried others even Windows Update Troubleshoot, I've check Services but BITS is missing, I've already tried to reset windows update components but every time i command
 "net stop bits" and "net stop wuauserv" it always says "The service name is invalid" and i've already tried to update my windows but it says the service is not running.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit.

Please tell me what i need to do, i really need it now.
