Windows 10: Windows update failed with error 0x80070424

I've tried running a google search with this specific code and ran through the steps, but that failed to resolve this error.


Also updated all drivers, still unable to update.


My system is WIN10. Please help.

I have facing error while updating windows 10 .

0x80070424

I tried all steps given by you in forum .

I went to services and then run all steps mentioned only " windows update " option is not available in services.

Please suggest alternative or again guide me steps to resolving

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
